Coronavirus Precautions

Dear Family Member:

I would like to take this opportunity to address the changes in protocol the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, (CDC) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, (CMS) are requiring our facility to follow during this time related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). All these efforts are to keep your loved one safe and to minimize the risk of this disease entering our home. The first requirement is for us to encourage limited and controlled visitation by visitors and family members. We have implemented a 7am to 7pm visitation time frame. We have limited the access to our facilities only through the front door (main entrance) to visually be able to see those entering the home. The second requirement is all those that enter will be subject to a limited questionnaire. Anyone that answers yes to any of these 3 questions will need to refrain from entering our home:

  1. Have you traveled within the last 14 days to a restricted country? (as defined by the CDC)
  2. Have you exhibited any signs or symptoms?
  3. Have you been in contact with anyone that is being investigated for COVID-19?

Our leadership and Care Teams have been diligently working to implement what is required by CMS and CDC. We have worked with our vendors to ensure supplies will be available. Staff are being trained on policy and procedures to address any concerns that may arise during this time. We will treat each of these cases just as we would Flu like symptoms. Hand washing and universal precautions are key components to the success of managing any infections, so we encourage your adherence to hand washing as well. My Care Team and I are confident that we are doing what is most important, and that is protecting our Residents.

Priority Management wants to thank you for the opportunity you have given us to love and care for your loved one. We appreciate your understanding during this time of focus on winning against COVID-19. God Bless!
